CoolPad Dazen has launched two dual SIM smartphones in
India, the Dazen X7 and Dazen 1 are priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 6,999
respectively. The smartphones will be available on Snapdeal from June 9.
Dazen X7 features a 5.2-inch FHD display and is powered by
octa-core 1.7 GHz processor. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8
megapixel front camera.
During the launch event, CoolPad spoke at length about how
the camera of the Dazen X7 is one of the best in the business and even compared
it with the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Dazen X7 has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, out of
which around 10 GB is available for users. The OS is Android 4.4.2 and has the
CoolUI skin on top of it, which looks a lot like the MIUI that runs on Xiaomi
smartphones.
The smartphone has a 2700 mAh battery and along with
extended battery up to 50%. It will be available in Gold and Titanium White
colours.
Dazen 1 runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
processor, 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD). It has an
8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel front camera.
The Dazen 1 runs Android 4.4.4 with the CoolUI on top of it
as well. Out of the 8 GB version, around 4.0 GB is free for users. Dazen 1 too
has 2500mAh battery and will be
available in grey and white colours. The Dazen 1 is priced at Rs 6999, which is
the same as the Xiaomi Redmi 2 budget device, a point that CoolPad’s executives
were keen to highlight during the press event.
This is a dual-SIM, 4G LTE smartphone. CoolPad Dazen’s Global CEO Li
Wang was also present during the event and he spoked about how the company has
great plans for expansion in India and wants to become the number 1 smartphone
company in India. The Dazen smartphones will go on sale on Snapdeal from 9 June
and registrations have started from today on Snapdeal.
