11. Mac OS X Leopard
I just love mac os x leopard
Awesome very simple and reliable better than windows
Very easy to use and it even supports adobe flash which is very nice this is the best one yet!

12. Google Chrome OS
it's super fast bootup along with light weight portability. Security like no other OS on the Planet too!
Fast booting, easy using, auto updating, cloud storing. I love it!
Very fast and smooth!
13. Debian
This is my favourite Linux distribution. Impressively stable and very versatile. The real taste of Linux
I would only trust Debian to run my web and email servers. It is always solid and has the needed tools to fix problems fast. It is a solid tool for the computer professional.
Brilliant OS! Really fast and low power, but can do so much! I use it on my Raspberry Pi, and I wish I could manage to install it on my desktop machines
14. Red Hat Linux
Very nice os but not good as backtrack 5
Most reliable OS for me
It's really a awesome os.. For all serious computer user.. And its dangerous too. It's our passion. It look high demonstration.
15. iOS 7
Nice? IOS look the same as it first launch. It gets boring looking at the same old UI, no customization, nothing. The reason why it run smooth, because nothing has change, just heavily optimize to run on one product.
Its the best OS ever built for phones and so fluid to use and smoothness it has awesome...
IOS 7 is a fantastic os good looking icons fluid, easy design. If your looking for a phone is then iOS 7 is the right choice.

16. Windows Vista
I have Vista with Service Pack 2 and it is an awesome OS. May have sucked back in its infancy but is now an awesome, reliable, and stable OS with Service Pack 2. Just as good if not better than Windows 7 in my opinion.
Its good, but its very complicated
Vista ultimate x64 is the best OS I have ever tried, and I tried them all. only problem whit vista, is that you have to be a bit nerdy, to make it work as you want, you have to reprogram settings for UAC, DEP, and a lot of other stuff, especially around the handling of memory. But when it all are fixed, you get the most perfect and gaming optimized OS ever, and if you are supernerdy, you Can use any version you like

17. Windows 98
0It is the operating system that brought revolution.. Introduced cursor, graphics and the gaming system.. It is without a doubt the best operating system there is.. So my vote goes to windows 98
Best O.S. ever, even-if it manually done process. It may not be not a friendly user O.S. like the windows 8 and window 7 but for me it is the most perfect O.S. ever created. You can do anything in window 98 manually if you have a knowledge to do it. It may not have a best graphics like the modern OS and other stuff. But still a wonderful OS if you know how to use it. And I don't usually like the “loading stuff” every time I do something (vista, 7, 8)
Windows 98 is epic because it is fast. It's faster than my laptop running Windows 7. It runs Office Word well, and it can run many powerful and great games.
18. Mac OS X Lion
Most stable, powerful, and intuitive interface in the world. Smartest computer, easiest to use, and just the best around. Nothing beats good ol' Apple!
Its the best OS I've ever used
Tried ubuntu, red hat and all versions from microsoft
Unlike windows it just works, is relabel and easy to use. Also unlike common belief it can run most popular games such as most of the Call of Dutys. It can do this better than windows only because its apple!
19. Arch Linux
A nice and stable Linux OS, it is like a Lego game. You can build around your kernel what you want, without the need of major hacks. Indeed, not desirable for beginners, but also not so unstable and complicated like Gentoo. I was trying Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Gentoo, Suse and Arch - Arch was the winner for me. I hesitated between Arch and Gentoo a time, but finally found Arch repos more consistent and up to date
The rolling release strategy is very important.
I agree, Arch is from far the fastest OS ever. In performance, it beats from fat windows 7 8 mac OS X all versions, Ubuntu, Mint. With the lastest 3.12 kernel, and the lastest mesa drivers, the graphics under Linux are now the same as DirectX under windows.
Fully customizable OS, much more apps than any other distros with the AUR repo. No need to update because it s rolling release.
Not for beginners.
20. Elementary OS
Elementary OS is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu (which is in turn based on Debian). It makes use of a desktop with its own shell named Pantheon, and is deeply integrated with other elementary OS applications like Plank (a dock based on Docky), Midori (the default web browser) and Scratch (a simple text editor). This distribution uses Gala as its window manager, which is based on Mutter.
Elementary is a great OS, very nice to look at and so easy to use. My wife has had it on her laptop for more than a year, it has never crashed, never locks up it "just works" and of course it is free as in beer and speech.
And of course as it's Linux and based on Ubuntu it has many thousands of free applications to do any thing your ever likely to want to do on a computer.
Well, one of the most underrated operating system on this planet. I've used all the major os like win 7,8, ubuntu, linux mint etc. but this is the only os which made me feel happy to use. AMAZING UI and graphics. Everything in this os is just so... Perfect. LOVE THIS OPERATING SYSTEM. AMAZING work by the developers.
21. Mac OS X Mountain Lion
More stable, more reliable than XP, and fun too. So far the best system I have tried. I liked Snow Leopard but this is a definite upgrade. Using Mountain lion with Parallels for Windows applications is smooth as silk.
I tried all of the top ten right now and mountain lion is the best, there is this bootcamp feature and you can install any operating system that you want, but you must make a second mac you can do that using disk utility. (if you want mac and the other OS
It's pretty good OS. I'm using it and I don't have any problems
22. Unix
Most serious applications are hosted on this platform.
1 of the fathers of modern personal computers (Linux&Mac) are based on it in one way or another. Most secure computing base. OS-tems based on it make most of the server, touch screen market
Definitely the best choice for users who are looking for taking the best of its machine.
23. Windows 95
Hell yes, what happened to the original windows? The start menu was the best invention ever by Microsoft and they took it away in windows 8, I mean I'm a computer tech and ill be doing something in windows 8 and hit some random key that brings up that dumb ass tile crap. I Despise windows 8, almost as much as I hate Vista and Windows Millennium Edition
The first ever operating system in the Windows series to introduce a simple but very useful and working component called the Start Menu of the Windows operating system, now ridden of and put into damnation by Windows 8...
Windows 95 is simple fastest and without lags is frendly OS and have all what
You need in one OS
24. Solaris
One of the best operating system on the planet is solaris 10 and the latest solaris 11 is the first OS developed for cloud computing...
Yeah, solaris is the best os in the world
Exciting features that no else have (at least not all of them) : ZFS, Zones, DTrace.
Strong and flexible.
25. BackTrack
Backtrack is AWESOME for penetration testing (aka hacking... )!
I love it and would recommend it to anybody who is even remotely interested in hacking.
It's a amazing os...
BEST, SAFES OS EVER!
26. Zorin
Every think works from the box
It is a simple and very fast operating system
All in one OS
27. openSUSE

Very stable linux. Works perfectly.
Best os ever for server stuff and hacking others
28. Linux
Is free why is not a true os
29. FreeBSD
Try PC BSD, stable and secure..
30. Ubuntu Gnome
Very good mix of gnome and ubuntu
31. OpenBSD
OpenBSD is the best when security is needed. My favorite OS for DNS Servers.
32. CentOS
I am linux user last from 5 year l love centos more than debian.
Best RHEL free clone!
Stable, secure, easy, fast
33. Windows 2000
Good solid operating system that was the building platform for the much loved Windows XP. More stable than XP though.
wizardryuk Only because there was no support for this OS and I couldn't do the things that needed to did I have to upgrade to XP. It was the best OS from Microsoft I ever used, if they'd updated it and given it new features I'd still be using it today. I've never liked any other OS from Microsoft, maybe XP after SP2.
Best windows ever. You know nothing if you don't agre.
More comments about Windows 2000
34. Chromium OS
This is for internet only, it is not recommended when you use to play games, you can play but in browser games only
35. DOS
If you don't know why, you won't understand why. But I'll just say this: It set the non-unix standard for all personal computers since the eighties... And is still embedded to some degree, in almost all of the OS's in use to this date. Those who love sheer computing power, are not swept away with interface graphic B.S. and... REALLY know how to use it... Realize that among robust light-weight OSs, NOTHING else has come close to matching it! (Or lasted as long! )
No OS mesh with DOS. Everything can be done through this... God for hackers..
It is the ultimate OS for hacking, programing and windows was made on it on the first place!
36. iOS 7.1
Runs fast and dependable.
37. Cylon Linux

BEST OS I had ever seen. Better than win 8. Amazing graphics, best GUI and safest os till now.

43. Kali Linux
Best Hacking OS Ever... Although not very user friendly 'cause it's only for computer whiz and pro hackers.
Much Better than BackTrack A bit User friendly to new hackers...
Best Hacking OS Ever

44. Puppy Linux
Puppy Linux makes my Pentium 4 computer works like a i7 machine. It's very fast and excellent in browsing websites. It makes the computer more responsive than the past Windows version installed on it earlier! This is one of the best FREE operating systems available today. I don't experience any crashes! 48. backtrack 5R3
BackTrack is a Linux-based penetration testing arsenal that aids security professionals in the ability to perform assessments in a purely native environment dedicated to hacking.
Backtrack is one of the best hacking tools in the world, join backtrack and you would be one of the best hackers and programmers in the world.
Coolest and best os ever
49. OS/2
I am still running it on my (older) IBM desktop.
Perfecty safe, no virus ever been made. The nasty thing is that there is hardly any software for it to be used other than office applications.
Most ATM machines (money withdraw machines) run on OS/2...
50. Kubuntu
Has a mix of both beauty and brains. Has the power of Ubuntu with the look of Windows 7. This is the best of this mixed with the best of that to become the best of the best. Actually, the look of Windows 7 itself is inspired by KDE which is the main ingredient of Kubuntu.
Kubuntu Is absolutely amazing, the 13.04 release includes KDE 4.10 which is the best KDE release ever it's fast, secure, stable and beautiful. If you want an beautiful OS with maximum support try kubuntu you won't be disappointed
Its beautiful easy and secure best option for alternate os if your computer is beaing use by some one else
51. Backtrack Linux
Very powerful operating system, most people use this to hack while its a very good os by its self.
This is a great opt. System ever 2013
Visit Backtrack Linux Website
52. Windows ME
Best OS for when you want to reboot any time you change a setting. Also if you're a fan of having no drivers for any of your existing hardware, look no further, you won't find drivers for ANYTHING! Good luck detecting your keyboard and mouse, you're better off just staring at your beige CRT! Watch in awe as it blue-screens, boot-loops, gives random errors, and best of all, never installs the updates it told you it did, its too busy calculating the end of the world.
If you like the Blue Screen of Death, you'll love Windows Me!
53. AS/400
None of those above even come close for serious applications
54. ReactOS
I like REactOS Very much although it is in alpha state but now it can run many or I think a lot of applications

55. Snowlinux
I enjoy using this os so much! I would give it a 5 star!
56. Windows Server 2008 R2
Best OS for a server!
57. Microsoft Windows 3.1
This where it started, true you had to upgrade Windows and DOS separately but you had fewer crashes and was easier repair, Win 95 and 98 weren't bad then we got xp through 8.1 with each getting more and more bloated requiring huge amounts of RAM just for the OS.
Aside from MS Dos 6.22, this is the first operating system I've learned and loved. It is a great leap from Dos or even windows 1 because its multitasking capability and it is not limited to 640 kb of memory, taking advantage of Intel 386 microprocessor. You can't appreciate this unless you live back in time.
58. Slackware
Awesome and really makes mind to work
It is easy if you know it!
59. BOSS GNU/Linux
Started in India the newer version 5.0 is most reliable
And most useful for linux begainers

61. Lubuntu
Slick! Fast! Useful with older/weaker systems
Light and unbelievably fast. Customizable and easy to understand even for dummies like me. Best ever comparable to windows xp pro.
Works great on newer computers, Increases video game performance by a ton, Doesn't look too shabby, Is based off Ubuntu Linux, Can't get much better than this.
62. Xubuntu
It just works great
63. JavaOS
64. BeOS
The best OS. Ahead of it's time
BeOS was almost a revolution in operating systems. If only it caught on. I was able to open and play 8 different movies at once on a 600mhz computer using this OS. Video card was an old Voodoo 3DFX card. For comparison, Windows98 could barely play one instance of a movie on the same hardware. BeOS was the future foundation for media based systems. If only it caught on.
65. CrunchBang Linux
Never had any adverse issues.
Easy to install and very stable.
66. Zeath OS
How to download free
I like this Zeath os because it is compatible with my Dell venue 8 pro. It runs many apps and I prefer you to download this because it's so 60% safer than mac and windows.

73. Windows Server 2003
It is server os
The nicest looking and most productive desktop environment ever created (up to its release, and still probably better than any desktop OS that exists today)

94. Linux Pear OS 8
95. CP/M
Yes, the original PC operating system that almost everybody used including Apple, Tandy, DEC, Morrow, and oh yes, it even worked on IBM and the Clones. MSDOS was the bastard child of CP/M and Unix that grew up to spawn Windows and we have not gotten all of the bad behaviour out of it ever since. Much of the technology that became important to mpdern computers was learned on CP/M and S100 machines, whether Z80, 6502, 6809 or even 8080 or 8088. The original non-scientist programmers almost all grew up on CP/M and 5" disks (even 8" maybe).
Is the worst operating system.
Yes, this was my first OS after I started with C-64 & Pet.
96. Atari OS 4.1
