ASUS announces new additions to its Transformer Book tabtop series at Computex 2015

ASUS today announced new additions and updates to the highly-successful Transformer Book Series of 2-in-1 convertible laptops. The new Transformer Book T100HA replaces the best-selling T100 model, and Transformer Book Flip TP200 is a thin and light addition to the innovative Flip family of ‘flippable’ laptops, aswell as the award-winning Transformer Book Chi, which gains a stunning new color option. Both new Transformer Book models incorporate all the latest technology including the revolutionary USB 3.1 Type-C port for easier device connections.

Transformer Book T100HA is the highly-anticipated successor to the best-selling T100 model. The 10.1-inch T100HA is even thinner and lighter, with battery life of up to 14 hours, and will be available from Q3 2015 with Windows 10 pre-installed. The 11.6-inch Transformer Book Flip TP200 is a new thin and light addition to the innovative Flip Series, featuring a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to be ‘flipped’ instantly for use as a powerful laptop, a handy tablet, or anything in between. TP200 will also be available during Q3 2015, with Windows 10 pre-installed. A new color option is now available for the elegant, razor-thin and light Transformer Book Chi Series, Crystal Silver.

The Transformer Book T100HA builds on the worldwide success of its predecessor, the Transformer Book T100 2-in-1, combining the power of an ultra-light 10.1-inch laptop with the convenience of a super-slim tablet — and with an amazing 14 hours battery life for all-day mobility. It features a thinner and lighter aluminum-clad design, with a tablet portion that’s 8.45mm thin and weighs only 580g. It packs a quad-core Intel Atom ‘Cherry Trail’ processor, up to 4GB RAM, and the latest reversible USB 3.1 Type-C port. T100HA is pre-installed with the new Windows 10 operating system featuring Cortana and hardware support for the Windows 10 Continuum mode. The tabtop is will be available in Silk White, Tin Grey, Aqua Blue and Rouge Pink.

Transformer Book Flip TP200 is a thin and light addition to the innovative Flip Series. It features an 11.6-inch form factor and  eight hours of battery life. It features a 360-degree hinge for the touchscreen, allowing the TP200 to be flipped instantly to any angle. Featuring pre-installed Windows 10, which includes Cortana, the TP200 also features USB 3.1 Type-C

The Transformer Book Chi Series packs an Intel Core M processor and is now available in the new Crystal SIlver colour, shipping with Windows 10.
