Panasonic
has launched a new smartphone dubbed Eluga Switch in India at a price of Rs
19,990. The device will go on sale via Amazon and will be offered in a Gun
Metal Grey colour variant.
The new
smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel
resolution. The display is reinforced by Asahi Dragon Trail Glass and features
Oleophobic Coating to make it scratch-free. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa core
Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM.
The Android
5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED
flash along with an 8MP front facing camera. The Panasonic Eluga Switch
includes an internal storage of 32GB and does not include a microSD card.
In terms of
connectivity, the smartphone includes 3G, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/
A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Android Beam, NFC and 4G LTE. It is backed by a 2910mAh
battery. In additional features, the company has added JBL-powered 1.2W dual
front speakers with Hi-Fi Sound and 3D audio. The device ships with JBL
headsets too.
