Chinese manufacturer Huawei is reportedly working on the
next generation of the Honor series smartphones which will be dubbed Huawei
Honor 7 and Huawei Honor 7 Plus. If rumours are to be believed, the Honor 7
will be released in June with a price tag of $322 ( Rs 20,000 approximately)
while the high-end version Honor 7 Plus will be released in July with a price
tag of $435 (Rs 28,000 approximately).
According to a report by mobile-dad, the new Honor 7 will
sport a 5-inch screen with a 1080p display. It will be powered by a Kirin 935
mobile chipset and will include a 3GB RAM. On the storage front, the device
will have 16GB on on-board storage.
However, the Honor 7 Plus will sport a 4GB RAM along with a
128 GB internal storage. It could have a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080p display,
a Kirin 950 processor along with a dual-lens rear camera. As of now, there is
no information provided if the devices will have expandable storage.
Towards the rear end, the Honor 7 will have a 13MP camera with LED flash and OIS and may
also sport a fingerprint sensor located below it. Both the devices are said to
be made out of metal, and will run on Android Lollipop and will include Emotion
UI 3.0 out-of-the-box as a layer above it. The Honor 7 will include a 3280 mAh
battery while the Honor 7 Plus will have a
4,000 mAh battery.
